Beka Sakvarelidze is an artist based in Tbilisi and a lecturer at the Tbilisi State Art Academy, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Painting (2010–2016). He is the Artistic Director of the Dresden International Exhibition ‘Kultura.Synchron’ and a member of the art collective ‘Color Cabriolet’. His achievements include receiving the ‘Canaletto Prize’ in 2018, 2020, and 2022, as well as the ‘Gffe Prize’ in visual arts in 2017. Beka has showcased his work internationally in countries such as Germany, China, Italy, Serbia, France, and Bulgaria, along with numerous exhibitions in Georgia. His notable solo exhibitions feature ‘Someone is Stirring’ at the D. Shevardze National Gallery (2023/24) and ‘Khvicha is Going to Run Away’ at the Art Gallery Silk (2015).
