Elizabeth Withstandley, originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, currently resides and works in Los Angeles, CA. She co-founded Locust Projects, a nonprofit art exhibition space in Miami, FL, and Prospect Art in Los Angeles. With a BFA from Pratt Institute and an MFA from The University of Alabama. Her works, "The Real Brian Wilson" and "The Symphony of Names: No Man is an Island," are featured in a Smithsonian's Recovering Voices Program traveling exhibition. Recent displays include venues in Berlin, Albany, Athens, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and Puebla, Mexico and past showcases at Antenna Gallery in New Orleans, Athens Institute of Contemporary Art, The Bass Museum, MOCA North Miami, and international venues in Israel, Brazil, and more.
