Fatma Durmush is an expressionist artist with a degree and an MA in Art from the University of East London, allowing her to develop a strong conceptual approach to her work. Her art has been exhibited in numerous galleries and institutions across the United Kingdom, including the Tate and the National Art Gallery. She has also been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition three times and has participated in various exhibitions.
She began her creative journey as an author, expressing herself through writing. However, it was through art that her voice truly flourished, bringing joy to more people than she had as a writer—an achievement that defines success in its own right.
