Jessica Guerreiro is a young Portuguese author, born in Beja in 1997, who graduated in
Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, and works mainly, but not
exclusively with sculpture, minimalist and conceptual. She also has a postgraduate degree in
Museology from the Faculty of Natural and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon.
She currently works at Atelier Concorde and has fully resumed her artistic production and
involvement in the art world, once again taking part in exhibition events.
Throughout her artistic career, her work has been exhibited in various places, most notably, in
Portugal, "Terra Incógnita" at the Museu da Tapeçaria de Portalegre - Guy Fino (2017/18), the
exhibition of the Painting Finalists at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes, in Lisbon (2020)
and the exhibition of the XIV Prémio de Pintura e Escultura - D. Fernando II at MU.SA - Museu
das Artes de Sintra (2018). Internationally, her work was presented at the online exhibition
"Art in Context" (2020), held by the Chinese curator Li Chao of the ArtLaozi gallery (China), at
the inaugural exhibition of the Artéria gallery (2023), in Barcelona, Spain, and her presence is
scheduled for the international exhibition “Open Art” in Tokyo, Japan, to be inaugurated in July
2024, organized by the ArtNumber23 gallery, based in London, United Kingdom.
