Matteo was born in Parma in 1976 and graduated from the Institute of Art in his hometown. Since 2000, he has exhibited in numerous national and international galleries and has worked in cities such as Paris, Berlin, Miami, São Paulo, Moscow, and Dubai. He has collaborated with prominent corporations including Henkel in Düsseldorf, Bobst in Lausanne, and spent three years working with Louis Vuitton in Paris on the "Moai Travel of Light" project.
In 2005, Matteo exhibited at the renowned Stelline Foundation in Milan, where his visual artworks received official recognition. He also participated in the 51st and 53rd Venice Biennales alongside artist Marco Nereo Rotelli.
In 2008, Matteo began a conceptual research project titled "Brain, Energy That Thinks" and founded the Brainhaus collective. His research led him to the 2010 Beijing International Art Biennial and, in 2013, to "New Narrative for Europe," a congress organized by the European Commission, where President Barroso invited artists, intellectuals, and scientists to discuss the future of Europe.
